I’m looking to get into astrophotography and would like a DSLR camera that is good for both planetary and deep sky imaging. I found a Nikon D40 that i can afford and wanted to know how well it would work. Question about Astrophotography setup?

Ok I have the Orion StarSeeker 130 GoTo Reflector and an EOS Digital SLR Canon Camera. If I connected these two would the pictures turn out better then just using for example an Orion StarShoot Solar System Color Imager IV? Please help I am new to astrophotography. Related Blogs
