Iâm not a big fan of adverts on Indian television however this particular advert really hit a nerve !

It could be due to the fact that Iâm an animal lover and can empathize with the commercial. Iâve had the pleasure of growing up with German Shepherds and a Doberman â so I can see how the wolves have a nurturing instinct â after all dogs are a descendent of wolves !

This ad campaign along with the print campaign for the Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts was directed by Bruno Aveillan for Ogilvy Asia Pacific. I didnât know much about the director so I went on to look him up on Wikipedia.

Bruno Aveillan was born in Toulouse, France and is one of the most distinguished and internationally sought after commercials director across the globe â¦ And this commercial is a clear indication of WHY he is sought after by brands such as Louis Vuitton, Audi, Chanel, Nike and Nintendo.

I have seen this commercial over a dozen or so times â and it never fails in giving me goose bumps and somehow awakens my tear ducts too ! Itâs heart warming and conveys a very powerful message that instantly instills the brand into the viewersâ mind.

The commercial takes the viewer through breathtaking snow covered locations to communicate that â¦

âThereâs no greater act of hospitality than to embrace a stranger as oneâs own â¦

â¦ The ethos of the Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts â¦ no doubt thatâs why they are at the top of their game in the hospitality industry !

Monsieur Aveillan most definitely deserves a big round of applause for he has managed to create such a beautiful and heart warming commercial. It is raw in nature and thatâs what makes it stand out !

The beautiful Vida Guerra posed open-mouthed with a veggie hot dog for PETA. The vegetarian model helped pass out veggie Chilli dogs on July 14 at the animal rights group’s National Veggie Dog Day, which was created in response to National Hot Dog Month.

Wearing a chilli-pepper-covered bikini and a smile, Vida Guerra and other bikini-clad beauties helped attract people to the veggie dog giveaway. Most pet owners consider Fido to be a member of the family, but when it comes right down to it, dogs have very different requirements when it comes to dietary needs than we do. Of course, they require the essentials like fats, proteins, carbs, minerals and vitamins just like humans, however for your dog to be healthy and maintain all the energy he needs he will need them in different amounts than you have with your food in and that's why feeding your dog from the table only is not the optimum way to meet his dietary needs.

Protein is a dietary need for all canines, but not all dogs need the same amount of it. Puppies have to have more protein during growth as do very active dogs. Ensuring your pets food features meat and meat by products as the first ingredients on the label is a necessity.

Just like with humans, one of the most misunderstood dog nutrition requirements involves fats. While it's a fact that too much fat can make your dog fat, he must have a certain amount in order to function. Fats help to keep your dogs coat from becoming dry and his skin healthy. And, needless to say, fats help your dog metabolize important nutrients and vitamins.

Nearly half the calories your dog consumes should originate from carbohydrates. Ordinarily this is derived from corn, rice or soybeans. If your dog gets skin troubles, he could possibly be allergic to the type of carbohydrate and you could need to transition from a corn based food to a wheat based food or vice versa to rule this out.

It's also vital that your dog takes vitamins Yep, dogs should have vitamins and minerals too. Essentially all the vitamins we need - C, A, E and minerals like zinc, magnesium and calcium (to name but a few) are important for our dogs health. And, the same as in people, they should be provided in the right amounts. Your dog is likely to acquire a lot of the vitamins he needs from his food, but there are liquid supplements you can get that should not be overlooked if you want a healthy pet.

Some commercially made dog food is full of filler and crap. If you want your dog to be healthy, then you must learn to examine the ingredients in his dog food to guarantee it will supply him with the ideal nutrition.
