Next Bentley Continental GT Speed caught undisguised|
Filed under: Spy Photos, Coupe, Performance, Bentley, Luxury
The 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show is just around the corner, where Bentley is set to reveal its brand-spanking-new Continental GT Speed. Our intrepid spy photographers caught this Conti prototype out on the street completely uncovered, meaning there's little left for us to speculate about before the supercoupe's debut.
The Speed model is set apart from its kin by a more aggressive lower fascia and different exhaust outlets, but don't let the subtlety fool you - the real story is what's under the hood. Mum's the word on exactly what we can expect in terms of power, but seeing as how the last Continental GT Speed produced 600 horsepower, you'd be right to expect numbers north of that for the new one.
We'll have the full details come mid-September, if not sooner

So easy, even a monkey can do it – well, not really|
There are many websites out there that make promises that lead one to believe that Forex trading is so easy, you can just set a computer program to do it for you and enjoy the rest of your day. What these sites are not telling you is that the success rate that these programs have is roughly 55%, which means, at the end of the day, you pretty much break even.
The programs themselves are called robots, named for their seemingly automatic performance of a task that takes some kind of intelligence to do. What they offer people is a quick fix for something that should never be takes so lightly.
Trading your own money is serious business. It is crucial that when you do so, you do so with care and thought first. I read an article several months ago in FX Week, a popular Forex Market periodical that showed the results of a test that MIT students conducted.
MIT is a notable US University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where some of the brightest and most talented mathematicians and scientists can be found. The students took a monkey, a 2 year old, and a Forex Robot and pitted them against one another in several Forex Trading tests.
The result of these tests was fascinating, the 2 year old, who had a video game like controller, doubled his money in four hours while the monkey – using the same controller, lost about 30%. The Forex Robot made 3% in the same period having a wider variety of Forex currency pairs to choose from. The next tests limited them all to one currency pair and the controller that the child and monkey used could open and close the position – the Forex Robot was programmed to only focus on this pair as well and they set a 1 hour timetable for the test.
The end result was that the Robot failed and the child, once again had the most success. They all lost value overall, but the child lost less than 4% whereas the Robot had an 8% drop and the monkey a 20% drop. So, the lesson you can learn from this, do not waste 200-300 Dollars on an automatic program – Forex trading is more complex than that and to truly succeed, YOU need to make the decisions. And while it seems that Forex trading is child’s play, you still could do a lot better if you knew what you were doing.

Blogspotting Business Week |
Good-bye to Blogspotting (Moving to TheNumerati.net)|
Twenty-three years ago, when I was a general assignment reporter at a soon-to-be defunct paper, the El Paso Herald-Post, I got a fabulous job offer. BusinessWeek asked me to open a bureau in Mexico City. If you had asked me at that juncture what a board of directors was for, or to distinguish between revenue and earnings, I would have been stumped. I had never covered business before (unless you count oil in Venezuela), and I didn't know much about it. But BusinessWeek, I soon learned, was chock full of knowledgeable, friendly and forgiving folks who helped people like me learn on the job.
My career at BusinessWeek, which wraps up tomorrow, was an education. I'd start ignorant, and then learn on the job from sources and colleagues. That's the great privilege of journalism, and BusinessWeek was the best place imaginable for it. When I was sent from Pittsburgh to Paris to cover technology in 1998, I knew far more about blast furnaces than semiconductors. When I came back to New York four years later as acting technology editor, I'd never worked as an editor or covered technology in the United States. People helped, and picked me up.
Many of those people are already scattered, and dozens more are leaving with me. I'd say I'll miss them, but I plan to stay with them on the networks. Why would I ever venture out alone when I have the greatest colleagues? They're the treasure of my career, and to forgo them at this point would be insane.
And so I move on. This is my last post at Blogspotting.net. A big thanks to Heather for the great company on this ride, and to all of you for your intelligence, feedback and friendship. We'll stay in touch, I hope, at TheNumerati.net, and on your blogs and Twitter feeds. (I'm @stevebaker.)
I still haven't figured out how to store the archives of Blogspotting. But I plan to write an email to the incoming editor in chief of BW, Josh Tyrangiel, asking him please not to pull the plug.

Elliott Wave Option/Stock Signal - UNG Long is Active|
The UNG popped big this morning almost 4% and I definitely didn't want to get long there. It has since pulled back almost 1.5% so I got long a full call spread position as stated in my previous post:
The natural gas ETF (UNG) is really testing my trading discipline as it closed two days in a row right on the confirmation level of my proprietary indicators, and also did not close above the upper end of the trend channel. So I'm a bit apprehensive here. With the heavy news hitting the wires this week, and the fact that this ETF can really move fast, I want to get some exposure to a long trade here. If I like the open tomorrow morning I plan to go long with with only half of my normal position size with the following setup:
Long Call Vertical Spread:
Buy April 29 call at 6.5 cost of $0.46
Sell April 29 call at 7.5 collect $0.14
I'm looking for a move to around $7.30 which will target a 100%-165% profit on this spread. Principle AnalysisPromote Your Page Too
