Vaste fraude dans le milieu agricole au Québec, réagissez! |
Dimanche dernier à La semaine verte sur les ondes de Radio-Canada, on a pu voir les résultats d’une enquête des plus révélatrices sur la production du veau de lait. À l’origine de l’enquête, on retrouve deux producteurs maintenant indépendants qui affirment que deux entreprises avec qui ils ont déjà fait affaire, et qui à elles seules contrôlent l’ensemble de la chaîne de production au Québec, gonflent leurs dépenses, donc leur déficit, pour obtenir davantage d'argent de l'État – quand les coûts de production sont plus élevés que ce que l’animal rapporte, l’ASRA compense la différence (voir la première et la seconde partie du reportage).
André Lussier et Patrick St-Onge affirment avoir fait part de leurs préoccupations pendant plusieurs années aux inspecteurs de la Financière agricole qui étaient en charge de leur production, mais ces derniers ont préféré fermer les yeux – ils se sont bouché littéralement les oreilles quand les producteurs leur ont parlé de fraudes. Exaspéré de cette fin de non-recevoir, M. Lussier a envoyé une plainte écrite à la Financière agricole. Cette dernière a alors porté l’affaire devant la section des crimes économiques de la Sûreté du Québec. Résultat: après deux ans et demi d'enquête, aucune accusation n'est portée. La SQ se borne à dire qu'aucune intention criminelle n’a été démontrée.
