Oreck DutchTech 1200 Canister Vacuum Cleaner Review |
Introducing Deep-Down Versatile Cleaning Power!
Before Oreck introduced the 1400, the DutchTech 1200 had plenty of very satisfied customers using it regularly. And most of them are still happy cleaners! The single speed motor runs very quietly, and delivers suction with the power of a hurricane in a lightweight machine. The dirt receptacle bag is generous and empties with one-handed simplicity. The long reach of the vacuum head allows you to completely cover small to medium rooms without ever moving the base. Reach high, low, and under to remove dirt, dust, and cobwebs from all surfaces. The house is long enough to take on stairs, half from below, and half from above. When you do move to another location, the body rolls smoothly, following nicely behind so you hardly know it is there. New purchases include either a bare floor tool for hardwood, tile and vinyl, or a carpet cleaning head. This unit does not feature a HEPA filter, but one can be purchased from Oreck and added with a snap, which allergy sufferers will want to do.
Who should use the Oreck DutchTech 1200 Canister Vacuum?
Those looking for very good Oreck performance and durability, with budget considerations, will appreciate the lower price point for the DutchTech 1200, and its ability to get the job done. Expect to pay between $529 and $699. If your unit has the bare floor tool, the carpet cleaner can be purchased as an accessory, and vice versa. Engineered for residential or commercial use and built to maintain high performance.
